@Dre Midrange hunter is beat up by shamans: / Even, I think if it was the shamans, I would already be in a rank above 4. How is running your midrange shaman?

I use Midrange Hunter by DRE, i change -1x Scavenging Hyena -1x Tundra Rhino and +1x Deadly Shot +1x Ragnaros the Firelord

The new Mid-range Shaman iam testing is currently not viable due misplays in the new cards (spirit claws / Maelstrom portal etc) I posted some misplays in the silverfish tread, and probably will report some more today. Best to just stick with the hunter and pray you dont only fight shamans. Lots of people got rank 5 with it allready.

AI is not the best in setting up a 2-turn likely lethal and will put more value in controlling the board. Its not allways bad. Because your 2-turn leathal can sometimes be total denied. Board-controll usualy last longer. But I agree sometimes setting up 2-turn leathal is the better move. Dunno how to learn the bot that. Sepe might have an idea.

I'm just questioning the viability of a secrets Hunter? I've seen the bot play around secrets pretty well - playing low cost minions if there's a chance of Mirror.etc but how would it fair in playing them?

Secrets Hunter holds itself pretty well against Mid Shaman, and seeing as almost everyone and their mother is playing Shaman right now, it might be an idea to invest some time in trying to counter it?

In regards to the AI misplay (houndmaster), in the two games I saw it happen, it was literally the play that lost the game. I imagine your deck's success rate would improve significantly if these little imperfections were ironed out!

Reinstalling hearthranger from the beggining helped a lot !
Maybe legend rank is not impossible with few more improvements... :)

The bot can never do complicated plays, you of all people should know this by now :p

Speaking of non complication decks, dragon warrior in wild works really good, you can run sjow's list and add dr.boom or run the regular one with deathwing or do both. But beware when the board is flooded is when the bot struggles to make the right alltho obvious play, an example is what I just witnessed today when bot had 6mana, ravaging ghoul, Frothing and some other random cards in hand, Azure drake on board vs councilman and a horde of 1/1 minions. This is a simple straight play Frothing -> ravaging -> trade azure into council, but the bot almost roped so I had to cut in :/

Highest obtained rank with this kind of deck so far is 6.

For some reason Dre's Midrange Hunter is stuck at rank 13 for me. Hasn't moved in a day.

SF is setup correctly, the deck is completed... I'm not too sure what's going on. A lot of people claiming to have achieved Rank 5, and I'm still not even out of double digits.

Any thoughts?

The shaman will work, my old shaman Hit rank 5 in 3 consecutive seasons. The new one has new cards which are not modified yet. Sepe is asking specificly to test those cards and iam 100% sure he can fix atleast the cards in this new midrange shaman.

Missplays should be posted in the Silverfish tread. rank 14 seems very very weird. are you fighting ONLY shamans? else i would make sure that you are not roping out. How are your pc speccs?

Checking your logs iam concerend about allot more plays then just that. Dunno whats going on there bit quick shot on own grandma and kill command a 1/1 while theres minions on the board to clear it. is strange. I need to sim this on my own pc when iam home. will post i the silverfish tread

I'm going to see how it goes on my laptop for the next few hours. After I changed a few things on my PC it was very rarely roping, so I'm not sure that was the issue.

I'm getting a 58% winrate with Dre's Midrange hunter and staying around rank 10.

Is this a normal winrate for this deck and the bot?

All reported logs for houndmaster buffing after the minion attacked have already been fixed. If it is still happening with 123.5SE then provide logs in the SF thread.

The format of your log is messed up so you probably installed SF wrong. Make sure you completely delete Joy's SF and then install mine.

To be fair, aggro shaman is alot easier deck to pilot than the new midrange shaman with Karazhan cards alltho they have alot of similarities but being able to play the deck correctly is harder, like chancing to get a spellpower totem while you have spirit claw or maelstorm to make super favorable plays is crucial.

Thank you Dr Dre!!! I purchased the bot yesterday night and i got in less than 12 hours rank 5!
I had to put in an ice yeti 4/5 and two flame jugglers 2/3 for barnes and 2x kindly grandmother because i dont have karazhan yet xd.

I appreciate your work alot! :)
