@dre i did testing for your new hunter for quite abit of time :o tested from around 12~8, currently keeps being around rank 9~8 doesn't seem like it can go any higher

I have the exact same result and winrates - its the shaman's and other hunters. Gonna check logs to improve against them, but it will mean you do less to others. There is not one deck to beat them all. But as you see you fight allot of shamans and hunters. This deck will get to rank 5 its just the 12th now, lots more days to go

here's my stats, winrate is fine. currently at rank 10. stats basically confirm what you were saying dre. shaman is currently definitely the worst matchup...

these are the final stats from my testings with dre's new hunter settings :)

Will be doing more ranked matches tests with an aggro shaman deck for now

This night i had 52% wr with the hunter, still low winrate against shaman and other hunters but you have to be Lucky and not fight them to much. Again iam sure the hunter will rank 5. I allready tech'ed against aggro by adding 2 houndmasters and 2 unleashes (other midrange hunter decks often have 1 of each) Maybe the Rag or the 2nd deadly shot can be changed to fight agro more. but iam affraid it will start falling behind on control decks then.

To all: I worked on this shaman files for quite a while. This got me to rank 8 in the first week of this season. Sepe recently made changes to rockbiter which makes this deck better aswell. I would encourage you to test and report this shaman aswell, it should be strong in the meta, even higher ranked then huner in the snapshot.

I checked all my losses against shaman and other hunters (thnx again sepe for the changes in the logs! In this case filtering for "Match Lost :(" and "hunter;hunter" / hunter;shaman" Makes my life SO SO much easier)

But I found one small missplay in those logs, which can be fixed easly. But it woudnt won me the match anyway. All losses against them we're without misplay. Just a combination of bad mulligan rng and totaly being overrun, they all ended before turn 9. Not sure tech'ing against it would benefit the overall WR. We just have to accept its a bad matchup.

Thnx for testing out my midrange Shaman jiajie (and hopefully others aswell) - sepe updated the midrange-shaman files in the OP

Maybe try teching with a geddon? Shamans have quite a number of 2hp minions

Geddon hurts the own hunter to much unfortunally - imagine it shredding your savannah hyjana's, huffer from cotw or all other 2 health minions. Geddon usualy only works in decks with very high health minions (controll warrior / controll priest) But your hunter minions will be dead right away or in max turns.

Sadly hunters are in the dumpster thanks to Karazhan(at least for the bot), it's one of the weakest class in the meta atm and the only redeeming part of hunter is still CotW. To me midrange hunter doesn't make any sense, why? cause you get bushwhacked by aggro and your turtling vs greedy control decks (which there are heaps of right now). But eventually you will get rank 5 by the end of this month, your best match ups are slow ass control decks which doesn't draw board clear.

Look at the class popularity on the right panel of http://www.hearthpwn.com/ , I'm guessing about 2% of those hunters are bots which makes it even worse for hunters.

Hi mate i dont understand your conclusion on weakest class in the meta since both hybrid and midrange are top tier 2 atm. Which ALLOT higher then it was last month. Midrange hunter even went up like 4 slots this week alone.

Last month (when all the people got rank 5 with the hunter it was lower tier 2, allmost falling in tier 3) For tier standing I would recomment: https://tempostorm.com/hearthstone/meta-snapshot/

At this moment in botting youl will have the highest change with my hunter or mid-range shaman. Because all decks in tier 1 are unbotable atm. But then in the tier 2 its mid-range shaman and the hunters. So very high in tier 2.

Totally disagree!

today I made it to rank 6 with Dre's new Hunter... Now I am quite sure it's just a matter of time and matchup, but rank 5 seems very doable... great work Dre!

I think I was 7 around day 4 with aggro shaman but things changed and it started to tank hard. I climbed from 9 back to 7 (50% w/r) last night with my own version of mid hunter designed to do better against the current trifecta meta (hunter, shaman, warrior) on americas.

Yeah i teched allready more towards aggro then the midrange hunter on tempostorm, I need to check more logs to change more cards. But me hitting rank 7, the guy above here rank 6 allready now. So probably wont change things that fast. The current version of my deck will get rank 5 for sure. Esp when you start to meet more druids and warriors and mages on the higher ranks.

Gonna my this hunter myself a few days to get improvements and then swap back to aggro shaman to check if the changed you made have big impact (i think it does)

Don't get me wrong, I've already gotten rank 5 with my hybrid hunter on US, but it's usually mainly by luck / I had to cut in some of the matches after I see a terrible play from the bot, example is when the enemy hunter has 9 life, the bot could do kill command for 5 and hero power to get enemy to 2 life for lethal next turn while it has 26life. But no, it kill commands Misha and runs the Direwolf Alpha into Huffer then hero power leaving the enemy hero at 7 instead. *facepalm*

Yeah its very bad against the top tier 1 deck: Aggro shaman, but every good against every other tier 1 deck. So overal it's good i would say. I tried to make our aggro-shaman work but i need more time. And for now i considder it my "duty" to have atleast one deck that i know people can get rank 5 with before iam going back to that project again.

I got a cardvalue of 5 on kill-command, ofc not sure if it would make the same play i would need the board for that. But as said, all my losses against hunter and shaman yesterday had no single misplay. My midrange shaman tends to be alloit stronger against aggro-shaman so iam curious what the results of that deck are now with the updated files aswell

Just hit rank 5 4stars with my own MidRangeHunter with a 73%WR in less than 5 hours, using Dre's OLD settings(havent tested new yet). I just wanted lo let Dre know that this worked like a charm, tested with proof from rank 16. For if he wants to take a look at it, test it himself and/or make adjustments to setting or anything this is the list Im runnin:
