Should I go ahead and try to craft the Hunter deck to aim for 5 this month? I capped at 7 with 5 stars with Midrange Shaman last month and couldn't get past the warriors. I don't have all the cards for the deck, and Karazhan is coming out in a week ... but so far the cards seem underwhelming and I don't think any major decks will be changing.

I dont know what cards you are missing but cards like call of the wild should be crafted anyway because they stay strong no matter what. Also when u just keep on doing your quest and dalie 30 wins u will be able to craft / get all cards pretty soon. So dont worry to much spending your dust.

As for the hunter, i hit rank 10 yday then felt back to 13 in the night - I dont know what happens in the meta. So no way to tell what is stong. needeless to say, Hunter was allways a stong deck to bot with.

It really depends how good your collection is so far. If you have most of the deck and lots of dust to spare then just finish it off, but if you're tight on dust or missing adventures then you probably want to wait.

Hi guys - I'm a newbie at the silverfish files. Is there anyway to do the following:

1) Have the bot Identify if opposing player has armed a weapon and then play the appropriate card (eg Harrison Jones)

2) Have the bot identify if there is an enemy minion and play the appropriate strategy (Eg enemy plays Doomsayer, so bot will go face and not play any cards (unless you can kill Doomsayer)

Silver AI plays this right by default already. So you don't have to do anything for it.

One problem with using combos is that it values the combo by itself. For example, it will play abusive+creeper (the combo) when there are no good targets.


I haven't heard this one before, "higher resolutions use less cpu". Could you explain why this is true? Isn't the CPU load constant?

ps: If you google this there are many people that have read this "somewhere" and ask whether this is true. But it doesn't seem valid.

Hmmm...I'll post some logs for you then. I'm playing a mid-hunter and I just saw two errors in 2 recent games:

1) Enemy Doomsayer was played. AI used minions to attack Doomsayer, but couldn't kill it, then played another non-charge minion and all were wiped from the board.

2) Enemy Ragnaros was played. AI set Explosive Trap, then used Hunters Mark to get Ragnaros down to 1 health. Then it ignored it for 4 turns in a row until I lost. I think the AI thought that Ragnaros would setoff the trap...


P.S. Should I post error logs here or on another thread?

Please post the misplays and the logs in the silverfish tread. Doomsayer sounds like sync problems tho. The other idk...what files are you using? Because my hunter has no expl. Trap. Since i found out for me it accualy lowered the wr in this meta

I actually have a vast majority of cards in Hearthstone, but I decided to be a retard and spent 11,000 dust finishing my golden Tempo Mage deck that is horrible in this meta, so I now have 250 dust, 4,500 gold, and want to save both for the next actual expansion (not adventure) - doh!

But, I will craft the 800 dust Calls to finish the hunter and try it out this season

So far, the bot has capped at rank 15, but it's not able to get 30 wins a day (I play when I get home, 4-6 hours) and it would typically get 100g before, now it's at about 40-70 each night. Mild quip, but still sucks. Do you guys only ever bot in ranked, or do you take a really fast face deck to casual to try to get 30 wins a day if you can't put too much time into ranked?

Does the hunter deck ever run into roping issues? I know with Zoo it does when I try casual, but didn't really notice it with the Shaman. I have a 5 year old system, but it's 8GB ram, i5-2500k, Radeon 6950 2GB, so I don't know if that's an issue

I am new to Hearthstone and I need to build a deck. I want one with a good winrate (70-80%+). Wich class should I choose? Wich one is the cheapest among the highest winrates?

Thanks. I'm missing Quick Shot right now as I save the 700 to get the Black Rock adventure. So, I'm trying different substitutions to see which one gives the highest win rate. Thanks for the heads-up that it lowers win rates in this meta.

I'll post the logs in the Silverfish Thread.

I would say standard, cause in wild you will face people who also played all the last expansions and have a big card pool. New players with nearly no cards will start playing standard, so your win chance is much higher there. Also there are maybe some imbalanced decks / cardcombinations in wild, because there are no further adjustements for the cards, which dropped out of standard.

Though, nzoth secret paladin is an extremely easy deck for the bot to play in wild.

Just google it or use hearthpwn. Do not try arena. The bot goes 2 wins on average.
