1)warlock 1.1 in low hp is drowing a card vs mage and catching a fireball in face.
2) when the table is full of cards he is trying to place more one and catching a bug.

zoo version 1.3 and 1.4 were built for rank 10 - 5 grind. Other decks were made for the 20 - 10 grind but still having good luck with 1.1 at rank 10 - 5. I haven't made rank 5 yet on any of my accounts but I am close on a couple of them. As to questions about version and one being better than the other. Zoo is Zoo same main differences are tech cards and mulligans. So use whatever decks you want. I'm posting them as I build and use them. I've been running both 1.3 and 1.4 with good luck. Maybe at higher rank you need to run 1.0 or 1.1 but I will not be spending time trying to post info on win rates and what not. Figure out what version you want to use. Discuss on the thread etc. If I make a deck it will just get posted as a new version to share.

I have just got rank 5 with little modified Zoo v1.1. It took me 2 days. Got stuck for few hours at 8 (+-1) but then I just almost went rank 4. :-)
Will continue by hand tho. Have noticed big flaws in Lock hero power logic (doing it before Keseth is used or before random discard card is used (with only that one card in hand)).
Another issue is that sometimes pirate (3/3) is attacking 3/4 mob and after that another pirate which is buffing other pirates +1/+1 is summoned. Result is that my pirate is down and enemy mob survives with 3/1.
I'll try to log it next time for admin.

Worst matchup was druid (33%) followed by priest(47%) .
Best matchup was hunter (71%) followed by Rogue (69%) and Pala(67%)

It would be matter of few hours to go to rank 5 if I havent met 31% of druids and 34% of priests during the time.

EDIT: Overall from rank 17 to rank 5 I had 55% Wins. On ranks 12 and 8 I switched to different Zoo decks without any progress (cost me 1-2 ranks both times) and they are not counted.
But Botwhat files are pretty friendly to almost any mods to his decks, so I can only recommend to build 2-3 derivates of 1.1 Zoo, one for standard matchups, second if you start meeting many druids (rank 8 for me) or many priests (rank 7 for me). Some adjustment can be done against control warriors if start meeting them a lot (if ever :-D).

So I all did was run BotWhat's ZooLock v1.1 BUT I made several changes to the deck (I did NOT touch the json files at all just swapped out a few cards):

I realized this deck shines as a midrange deck more than an aggro deck that tries to close out early on. Most popular classes on ladder atm are rogue and priest and Archerus Veteran is horrible against both classes. It makes for a juicy target
for Potion of Madness, Backstab and rogues hero power. When I added in +2 Tar Creeper's my WR shot through the roof against both priest and rogue.

2. -1 Bloodsail Corsair +1 Abyssal Enforcer

You already have 3 other pirates in the deck to pull patches and I found that removing one corsair really didn't hurt the early game much since the deck has so many other 1 drops. Abyssal is AMAZING against shamans (just take a look at the
statistics). Great against aggro matchups especially lock mirror matches.

I was considering crafting Cairne for priest matchups but now that I hit 5 I know the deck has a decent WR across the board as is. I ran the bot from early morning till around late evening so about 12 hours for two days.

EDIT: Record should actually be 94-75 as I botted a couple of more games on another pc (won all games). Guess I got a bit lucky with a win streak but nevertheless the deck is very strong.

This deck is actually good. I will try to bot it tonight from rank 10 using default vision a.i. . Will post results tomorrow.

I'm using it on a FTP account currently. Grinding out golden portrait. It's been back and forth from rank 15 - 11 and can't seem to push over the hump to rank 10. It's not a very strong deck on the ladder right now. It's good enough that over a very long time and some lucky win streaks it can go lower but if you are trying to get rank 5 not the deck I would use. Midrange paladin and zoo are the best decks for bot right now.

I am on rank 15 and will try Zoolock v1.4 now, in about 10h I will post my results so far (and will leave it play for at least 24h if it climbs well).

I'd say that Aggro Druid 1.4 is on that shortlist as well. It's gotten me to 12 several times before being knocked down. And using that same setup I posted a few posts earlier (where the deck fails under 45%) it was the longest living deck now at over 100 games.

That being said, I'm trying Zoolock 1.1 again. I really want to get out of this 15-hell.

Deck was actually impressive. It had a 9 game win streak from rank 10 to rank 7 before losing a ton of games going back to rank 10.

Hope botwhat or scottbreak can help make a config for this deck.

I made it to Rank 5 with the Warlock v1.1 in only about 19 hours from Rank 19. Thats a new record for me i think.

Quick update I have 2 accounts at rank 5 now both made it there with Zoo. My main account I used a mix of Zoo and Paladin. I did make the recommended tech changes to zoolock 1.1 the abyssal enforcer is a good addition. Some of the best decks we've had here have been aggressive decks with some mid range elements added to give them more consistency when they run out of steam. I made a zoolock 1.5 as well to try and different variation on zoo but I did keep the abyssal enforcer in the deck. I'll be posting it shortly. I went from rank 7 to 5 with that deck last night. I'm going to start included some tech option in the deck files when I post them. I think that will help people be more consistent with the decks. The files I'm posting will work with most similar decks with a few tech changes. Obviously major changes will require a rewrite but if you are trying to hit rank 5 run zoo.

I have two other accounts that can't run zoo. I don't have the cards so I've been trying hunter, druid, mage everything. Those accounts are still stuck in the 15 - 10 range. What I'm finding is that if you look at the win rates for ALL of the classes together none of them are just killing it. The average win rate is somewhere between 49% and 51% combines for all games tracked across all decks and the bot will usually not perform as well as the stats for the class, typically a few % less so it makes sense to me why these other decks struggle. I'll continue to find a none zoo or paladin alternative that I can make but it might be one of those scrapping into rank 5 by the very end of the season.
