Hey guys - I'm working on an analysis of discovery cards (e.g. Jeweled Scarab). I'll post my results after I'm done. I just need a little help understanding the silverlog discovery card entries (3 quick questions in spoiler)

My carddb was last updated on the 9th, maybe it missing the cards from last week? But that wouldn't explain things like Houndmaster after attacking, or why after (literally) 500 additional games over other people I'm not hitting higher ranks, especially since I've been struggling for almost a month

That isn't the latest and 123.1SE was out with a houndmaster order fix before you posted about it yesterday but I figured you would see it for yourself by now...

Edit: I forgot to remind you that since 123.0SE it now writes what configs are being used at the top of each silverlog so look there to check if it's using the configs you want it to.

Picked the 3rd card which is AT_056.

Types of choices: "user" = used your discovery file, "optimal" = can be used this turn to create a board with the highest board value, "suboptimal" = can be used this turn in boards that don't give the best board value, "random" = random.

ctrl+f in visual studio or just about any text editor that doesn't suck.

How is everyone getting rank 5 with midrange hunter this season??? :( I have 43% winrate, went to rank 10 at the start of the season with 48% winrate, but now I am back to rank 16... It's starting to win again, 44% winrate now and rank 15. I am using all the default settings that come with the decks.

I would make sure you are using silverfish and use the settings that he has uploaded

Update: got rank 4 last night but went back down to 6.

I missed the update as it went out live yesterday during the day, but I had run it earlier in the day from the second I got up while I was away at work. Today it went 59-61 with a 49% win rate and actually went up to rank 6 3 stars when I got home. I'm going to assume that after the update and fixing that it will have enough to hit 5, and then I can add my name to the list and start testing out other decks if people want. But the new cards came out today so now I'm not sure how this will impact the deck as Kindly Grandmother came out.

I couldnt trust my eyes this morning. Reached Rank 3 with Dres MidrangeHunter.

Just updated to sepefeets newest silverfish version yesterday.

I hit Rank 3 with Dre's Midrange Hunter also, and ended up at Rank 4 (one star away from 3). I am probably going manual from this point. Thanks Dre, you rock!

Here is the download link. Extract the .7z and replace the silverfish folder with the silverfish folder in your hearthranger / externbot Folder and replace all files.

I just run into this deck on Hearthpwn. I think this might have even more potential if we copy the mulligan rules from there! Dre? ;)

My rules are based on allot of research / testing / reading, also if i might say myself iam a well above avarage manual HS players aswell, reaching legendary before i knew of the bot. But again, meta change so what cards to hold in mulligan will also change. Again the hunter deck is from last season, iam rly gladd it still works at this moment but i will not make or change any decks untill the karazhan meta settles (So like 2-3 more weeks) Also keep in mind. Rank 4-3 will be the absolut highest, even if the mulligan is flawless. Getting from 25-5 is the easy part. From then it becomes hard, the bot in the current state (with datasync) it wont get higher.

Haha thnx! I watch allot of streams often and play allot of games, so since i have my holliday now (last weekend) i tought why not make my twitch page more atractive :) After this weekend i will be steaming more frequently. Allot of overwatch tho. I wont steam the bot for aparent reasons ;) but manual Hearthstone probabaly yes.

Also i will attent Gamescom this Saturday maybe some of you there? xD Sorry for the OT btw :)

So far I went from rank 14(was fiddling on how to start sepefeet's silverfish) and now peaked at rank 7. I'll see how it is tmrw

I think we should set our eyes upon beast druid once the warden is released. The deck is absurdly easy to play, even easier than secret paladin.

btw, there's a funny way to troll players in this brawl. Set the bot to play brawl and auto concede after X seconds. Both players will lose.

when i do this, i can no longer choose "silver" in the Hearthranger menue.

i seams as it will not start after new silver update ...

Sorry ... i double checked the right folders... i think i do womethring wrong ...

I'm not so sure about the beast druid deck for a couple of reasons

1 - you would need to do a discover file for raven idol, and then also a 2 for 1 with Fandral. I don't know how hard / easy this would be?

2 - with decks like Violet Teacher and Fandral and choose one effects there's a lot more player input involved than just vomiting out your hand with aggro. Sometimes holding Teacher until the opponent has used removal and then dropping out 6 2/2 tokens is better than dropping it earlier and I don't know how well the bot can emulate this

Either way, I'd be happy to test either by making my own deck and somehow figuring out how to create the setting and mulligan files (how hard is this?) or waiting 2-3 weeks until Dre puts out some post Kara cards, which would be around the 10th of September giving some good time to playtest with results for that month en route to rank 5
