Usually VAI tends to treat minions with Poisonous as normal minions.
For example, enemy has a 3/3, I have a 1/1 with Poisonous, and a 2/2.
VAI uses 2/2 to attack 3/3 first, then use the 1/1 with Poisonous to attack 3/1.
