Just saw this video where Kripp highlights a game against a Midrange Shaman Bot. It was playing no Gadgetzan cards, and was at Rank 8. Pretty interesting, but unfortunately drawing attention; be careful. https://www.youtube.com/...v=c8jDR5_NUvs&t=314s

The bot look like smartbot. Hearthranger use simulation moves. Thats why HR is safe.

yeah but drawing attention to big streamers like that is dangerous... It probably gets noticed by blizzard and then they start the hunting. Not that they don't already know, but it gives them a reason to get out of their confort zone and start the bot hunting. Which will put any bot in danger.
Thats my point of view, of course I know nothing of how blizzard detects third party programs...
Anyways, I'm new here and last season I used the bot to climb the ladder to rank 4, but I decided to use it only for gold farm and play the ladder manually from now on

This is why once i get to around Rank 10 I monitor the bot on another screen just to be sure it isnt doing more blatant moves for the rank. You could get away with all the 1-1 cards going face at Rank 20 because no one gives a fuck or expects anything decent anyway. Set up a few return emotes and monitor the bot while you play at the higher ranks and youll be safe. Isnt even an issue

One of the Reasons i was so excited about working Gadgetzan Decks in HR.. But i can't seem to get over Rank 13. (i guess Pirate Warrior could be awesome with HR but sadly i don't have Patches yet :D)
Also i would like to use a Bot to do excactly that.. botting. If i have to watch what he is doing ALL the time then well i could just play for myself^^

That was my bot and I do use Hearthranger along with Sepefeets latest version of silverfish. I have been using this bot daily since TGT so I think I would have been banned by now if Blizzard had a way.
I have been thinking about this feature for a while but now I really wish we had the ability to concede against certain people like major streamers to prevent this. I ran Karazan midrange shaman because it is just so OP still. I made it to rank 5 within like 16 hours of straight play or something. I watched the vod the day after and everyone in chat was on a witch hunt. They started targeting streamers with mega or mangos in their name, regardless of what they normally streamed. I'm not really sure there is anyway to prevent something like this happening in the future except constantly watch it play which defeats the entire purpose. I would rather take a loss than bring this much attention to the whole thing though so I think an auto concede would be great.

this just goes to show how bad HearthRanger actually is. Some of the worst missplays ever.

Blizzard can still ban you manually if you wanna bot you gotta be smart about it.

The missplay against the doomsayer was indeed very obvious.
