I've been too busy wrecking Wild with Secret Pally to try anything else until now. AFAICT Standard Midrange Hunter is a tier 2 deck, it can do well at high ranks because it counters some of the stronger decks, but it gets destroyed by the variety at low ranks.

That has been my observation as well. It counters most decks but doesn't always do the job. Im still hovering rank 5 in standard with this deck. Im stuck at rank 12 in Wild with Secredin.

I did a very short testrun with this deck yesterday, altough i made a very small genral mulligan file which basicly was:
hold Bat or 2x with coin
hold toad, juggler, elekk or 2x with coin
hold animal companion
hold weapon if there is a 2 drop in hand aswell
Settings around 6000.
I ended with a 65% winrate in 30 games, went from rank 15 to 11.
Will write a full mulligan soon probably.
