I'm running a SSD drive and the charge is registered even if it's very slow APM. We need to wait this to be calculating faster maybe in the next silverfish versions. I'd suggest to optimize your Windows in the meantime by fully delete temp files, disable\uninstall any antivirus and things like that since the more the drive is loading stuff the less the bot calculates quicker.

I have had games where I played bane of doom and received a doom guard (has charge)

Enemy had 0 cards in play and did not hit face with the charge.

Try to always keep a look at the "actions" in the bot window, if you don't read "best move for silver.dll" do the move as quick as you can before it ends turn.
Anyways, don't worry this is gonna be fixed soon!
