bot create 3 random 'windows' when hearthstone fails to open

I dont what those 3 things is, I can't right or left click on it - can only move it. When I doubleclick on it, it opens as a white rectangle which won't go away at all (not movable) or clickable (like a white rectangle blob on my monitor screen) and always stays on the foreground above everything else (REALLY anonying) it doesnt have a taskbar icon.

I know its related to HR as it only comes up when HS fails to open when it is disconnected (it attempts to reconnect 3 times). I can't find anything related to it in the task manager either else I would just terminate it.

My only solution is to just move and hide it to the side of the screen or to restart the PC.


What is it and how can I remove it without restarting every time?

Windows 7 ultimate 64bit.

the same thing happens to me and i'm not sure how to fix it.

The white rectangle window is Battle.net.exe, it seems your battle.net.exe is dead in background.

You can open task manager, find battle.net.exe in process list, then kill it manually.

Just came up again. I deleted anything blizzard related from the taskmanager and it still stayed there. I even went ahead and deleted everything from the task manager (all services shown) one by one as I was going to restart Pc anyways cause of this and it still would not go away. Is it hidden?

Basically what happens is, if the battlenet window 'Play' button for hearthstone is not clickable, then the bot tries to open something which results in that little rectangle to pop up on the screen 3 times.


One way which I've been able to reproduce this (not 100%) is login to battlenet, start hearthstone, start bot, log off battlenet, login as offline, close hearthstone and the bot produces those 3 windows for me.
