Ver.3.0.0.0

Improved arena drafting logic.

- Now hearthranger bot can draft very good deck in arena mode, you can let bot draft for you or let it run arena totally by itself.

Improved a.i. when turn is timeout.

- Bot behavior is changed when turn is timeout especially in arena mode.

Some cards bugs fixed.

- Including [Explosive Sheep],[Troggzor the Earthinator], GvG card parts 1-7.

Updated silverfish module.

- silverfish module has been recompiled with latest source from
https://github.com/noHero123/silverfish

UI text refined.

Sorry to hijack this, but how do i update silverfish, do i copy it over the old folder and use silver.exe normally ?

Even though useexternalprocess is set to true, i dont see silverfish using silver.exe. Its saying waiting for board only.

About silverfish, HR uses silver.dll, not silver.exe, check this thread to know how to setup:

But in the previous version (2.9.6.0) was possible to use silver.exe because it's a faster calculation... then, silver.exe would write to silver.dll and HR read and play.

Now silver.exe is not working, so, it's not overwriting in silver.dll.. That's what is stated above.

Hi Joy, Ive been testing this out for a few days and i have to say I am very impressed how quickly youve programmed this to this level. One thing I noticed with the patch, if you dont run silver.dll it doesnt seem to have all of its settings or something right. I watched it calculate then throw one minon (and the silver knight) every couple of turns... it somehow survived against amage like this but it waited till turn 4 before doing anything ( and it had a had full of 2s and 3s, and i looked again at turn 8, and it had a full hand. Played an equality and nothing else(concede lol). loaded silverfish.dll and works fine. 58% not bad. Havent tested arena yet but I just wanted to point that one out incase its a scripting error. *Edit* Turns out my firewall prevented the .dll again, be sure to unblock it**

From what I saw, Silverwish was updated with the 3.0 patch, correct?

Also : Did Silverfish correct the targeting impossible minions bug? (specifically that 2/5 taunt).

Silverfish for HR now is maintained by botmaker, creator of silverfish module, I think he already handled all the related issues, but it needs all the users to test it.

kapusniaq58, read the first post, it already shows how to upgrade, or simply click [2.9.6.0 update available] ..

I let the bot draft decks and me play them and my winrate in arena has dropped from 68% to 62%

Botmaker released an update to silver.dll on this forum which draws its settings from an external .txt file, allowing us to reconfigure silverfish's behavior. Any chance we'll see this feature included with HR?

You must either draft really well or just got unlucky.
I was at 59~% winrate before using bot and than it jumped to 67.74% after using the bot (granted I've only ever played 5 arena by myself [since didn't realise that even at 4-5 wins, arena gave more gold worth than packs] and 5 bot drafted games so numbers might be slightly off).
Of course with how rng based arena is, its just as likely I'm wrong and you're right.

Unlucky, sometimes, yes but sometimes the bot makes really really bad picks e.g. have no late game and picks violet teacher over sunwalker
cause of small synergy with spells or picks and innervate over an ironbark protector.
