Our server IP has changed, Old: 72.167.38.34 New: 50.62.6.107

To connect with our new bot server, you have to do some manually changes at your local hearthranger bot copy.

1. Edit [HearthRanger.exe.config] file under hearthranger directory, with notepad or any text editor.

Replace 72.167.38.34 with 50.62.6.107 .

Save this file.

2. Edit [Launcher.exe.config] file under hearthranger directory.

Replace 72.167.38.34 with 50.62.6.107 .

Save this file.

*If any text encoding option shows up from your editor, ensure it's UTF-8.


Another way is simply download the latest full package from our downloading page, then overwrite your local copy.

Please fix it. It doesnt work. I Changed and doesnt work, later i downloaded latest version and too not work.

I think it's a common issue in your environment, like run hearthranger as administrator, unblock downloaded hearthrager exe and dll etc.

I edited the file but it didn't work and then even downloaded the program again but it still isn't working. I did start it as admin. Before the server change it worked like this. I get the same thing as CrimsonAce got (Post #2).

Guys, i changed the ip in the .xml config files and its worked for me, but the problem was that i couldnt update from Launcher.exe :(
So finally i had to DL the version 2.9.5.0 from the page and its working.

For those people that cant fix changing IP in the config files of the folder, im going to upload the files, you just have to copy and paste, and overwrite.

I hope that it will help guys ;)

I had the same problem. I've changed the ips on both files as JoyAdmin said us, saved the files and then I run the Launcher.exe, running the bot from tthe launcher. Try it.

I think there's a problem with http://50.62.6.107/forum...Bot---HearthRanger.aspx version as it has [HearthRanger.exe.config] old IP, and i think thats why we are having so many problems. I've changed the IP on that file and it's working as usual.

Edit: you can edit the file manually as it's explained above using replace from Notepad options or you can download Troll 01 files a few post above too and i hope Admins could update the file with the correct IP as soon as it is possible

Same, still doesn't work.

EDIT: Ok i opened "edit task" with the game closed and it appears to have opened and works with the game open now! (after waiting some seconds to initialize)

I replaced the IP and then tried by using Trol01 files but its not working. When I press "edit task" i get "loading data, please wait... " and nothing happens.


Any solution for this?
