- Improved stability.

We eliminated many annoying bugs, now bot is much more stable than old version.

- Improved UI.

Now you can choose to use job list or not.

- Some important bugs fixed.

Now bot has better chance to win, especially in arena.

bot can't recognize card when it turns to yellow.

- Some UI bugs fixed
bot can't save draftpay times in job list.
bot can't switch deck rule file in daily quest list.

bot always use last deck rule file in arena mode.

- Other improvements.

bot uses internal test A.I. parameters in v.2.6.2.0, this may cause A.I. degrade.

bot A.I. can't process card [Pint-Sized Summoner] correctly, this may cause bot stop and do nothing when battlefield has this card at any side.

- Mouse move speed tune range entend to 20.

bot may not play card with buff correctly.

- A.I. default parameters re-tuned.
- New options to tune A.I. parameters.
Now you can tune the A.I. calculation power in [Other Option] panel.

- Faster end turn when no more plays available.



I highly recommend you to update to latest version.

How to update manually?

Start Launcher.exe at Hearthranger directory, then click [UPDATE] button.

Thanks for the update! Everything seems much smoother. There's still times where the bot takes too long to calculate moves, allowing the timer to run out, however that occurs a lot less now.

Why not give it a try? I just got 7-3 with mage, full auto including hero selection and drafting.

I would.. if I had the gold ;) currently letting the bot farm a bit while monitoring it. Its the best I've ever seen it I think, good job! It still have some issues "thinking forward". For example, my warrior had a 5 damage gorehowl ready and a arcanite reaper in hand. The enemy mage had 10 hp, yet it passed the turn instead of hitting the face with gorehowl and attack with arcanite reaper for the lethal 5 damage next turn.

Something I'd love to see in the future is a more user-friendly way to edit deckrules. But you're making good progress! well done

Does mouse move speed increase the speed of which is attack with multiple minions too? Or is it just hovering and targeting? I've noticed that when the bot has a large board it takes some time for him to attack with the minions, was hoping there is a way to fix this as it doesnt look very human-like most of the time. Maybe if he would think through all the moves when it has a big board, then queue up the attacks faster?

I've also noticed the bot has some issues regarding spells and effects that has a random element to them, for example the bot doesnt want to gamble and use imp-losion on a 3 health target even though it has monions to finish it off with even if it just damages 2.

Another thing I noticed in my last warlock game was this scenario;

the bot had a spectral spider buffed to 3-1, and a enemy with 5 health. I had a dark iron dwarf and a abusive seargeant in my hand. It chose to attack with 2 minions, killing them both, instead of buffing the 3-1 spider to a 5-1 and killing the minion.

Just a few small things I'm noticing while monitoring it :)

The default deck logic seems extremely broken; I've played with several decks, all of which the bot only played one creature with around two mana crystals and then on all consequent turns (until 6 crystals at which point I conceded) no creatures were played despite being able to play several creatures. Running on Windows 8.1 x64.

Is there a bug where druids wont play Anodized robo cubs? the bot drafted 3 of those, but he is just holding them in his hand. He has 6 mana left and he wont play them at all.

Well, this arena did not go too well for the bot, 1-3... :(

I don't know if is the bot or the meta, but it seems that each update my winrate drops. I was not able to see if the bot is doing to much missplays, or its just the meta.

use mana stone, gain one mana

cast bear 3mana when then is one mana left...

stuck


not sure if its a bug or just some looping problem, just providing information.

Yoin has been doing a great job updating it and I've been using for a while now and I'm getting pretty neat results.

For me, bot does not do daily quests. I checked that and it doesn't change deck.
Although it works pretty good, except placing Dire Wolf Alpha, sometimes its placed on the most left and it only provides dmg for one minion :)

It's not only Dire Wolf.
Flametongue Totem is bugged, too.
The bot places it to the left and plays all new minions to the right.

Can anyone check Defender of Argus and report back?

I also noticed that the bot attacked with a minion, and after it had attacked he buffed it with Shattered Sun Cleric

Seems like there is a minor bug in the card placement.

@JoyAdmin: Can we change the behavior via the ruleset?

But I think this is a low priority issue and GvG card handling is more important atm.

Review of 2.6.0.0:
-Still need to play without enhanced AI with my hunt else it sometimes takes forever to play (or get in a loop and dont play at all for an entire game);
-Still have issue with coin played on turn 1 for nothing (i recorded debug of turn 1 here: http://imgur.com/AQ5YBuB, next action was end turn);
-Good point: did 6/3 in arena yesterday full bot play :).
