You can play expert AI as is with the program, just go ahead and manually start the match with which AI you want the bot to play, and then just unpause to let the bot do its thing.
Every mode in Naxxramas can also be played by the bot doing this. A little bit of a pain, but you only have to do those once. IMO time shouldn't be spent on trying to get the bot to do those things autonomous. Time would be much better spent fine tuning the program AI further.
