This update brings you a safer hearthstone bot, technically speaking one of the cores of hearthranger bot is re-designed.

Also we re-tuned some A.I. and add some improvements, we'll add more in next update.

I recommend you to update to this version.


[Edit: Freeze issue solved]
If you encountered bot freeze issue, simply update to latest patch, it'll solve it, but hearthranger version is still v.1.9.0.0.

It's caused by improper configuration parameters defined in HearthRanger.exe.config.

Looks like this issue only happens on Windows 7 64 bit OS.



How to update manually?

Start [Launcher.exe] at Hearthranger directory, then click [UPDATE] button.

Since I updated the bot it just keeps freezing when I try to open the options, start it or go to deck rule debugger. I'm on Windows 7.

Edit: When the game isn't connected I can freely open any options without lag, but once I start the game and then try to open any options or start the bot it freezes.

Could you try to restart the game, then wait at least 60 seconds, then open the bot and try it again?

I did that now and it doesn't change anything. I also tried restarting my PC several times. :(

Edit: Is there any way you could post the download link to the older version again so I can use that until the new one works for me?

Misses lethal. Default Deck Rule. Enemy had 5HP + 6 Armor. Had Ironbark Protector on board ready to attack, and the Argent Squire + Mark of the Wild in hand. Bot played Argent, and buffed it with Mark, and then attacked face with the ironbark. I dont know if this is because of rules or A.I. :D

Watched it play through two games. Seemed to be doing alright. I noticed a few more human like features/gestures which are nice.

Two comments though:

1. It kept Ragnaros in my opening hand. Under what condition would the bot find this optimal and not mulligan? The whole opening hand was terrible. It did not mulligan any of the following cards: Rag, Sword of Justice, Consecration x 2
2. I've been noticing more and more people running Kel'Thuzad. I feel this is a meta shift to possibly combat bots. The bot has a very hard time with this card in play.

i have the same problems as ssaydam and brotomal with the new version 1.9.0.0. however, i made a quick fix on the problem. extract version 1.9.0.0 anywhere. then extract version 1.8.5.0 anywhere too and get boot.dll from 1.8.5.0 and paste it in your version 1.9.0.0. now your version 1.9.0.0 will work.

Thanks gwencilicious, but it's not a fix so it will not bring the 'safer feature' to v.1.9.0.0.

I'm working on this odd issue, please bear with me.

Usually default mulligan rules will change every card with cost 4 or more if I amn't wrong. Mine will keep cost 4 cards too.
About Kel'Thuzad, you can configure the bot rules to kill it as fast as possible given a high value to attack him. I use thi sline in my rules:

Any Card 10 GAIN FOR ATTACK AND TARGET enemy battlefield has card named $(Northshire Cleric) or $(Knife juggler) or $(kel'thuzad)

So if the opponent has a Cleric, a Juggler or kel'thuzad, the bot will try to kill them

In my case, the bot just says "Checking game enviroment" when I click "start" and its stuck there forever. Tried restarting both game , and bot, but nothing seems to change. Hope this feedback is useful for you!
