How to get Vision AI to work?

First get yourself some configs, for example, I have created configs for multiple decks:

Go to “Download” and download all the files.

If applicable, use any program that you prefer to unzip the file, such as 7-zip. Copy all the files of the corresponding deck you would like to use and open the “Hearthranger” folder.
Inside the Hearthranger folder, open the CustomConfig folder.



Create a folder for the config files, which you just copied. Paste the files in the just created folder.



Adjust the deck_config.ini so that Hearthranger.exe “knows” which config it should use. To do this, change the lines under “[CONFIGS]”. For example:

Plays spirit of murlock first on empty table, and than plays murlocks from hand. But great config nevertheless! 44/65 67,69% in ranked! :O

So yea for me it's all good, 60%-70% winrate. I'm now rank 6, close to 5.

Absolutely does not realise, that the murlock that gives other murlocks +1 attack has some value. Plays it at turn one when there is zombie murloc in hand. Than kills 1 hp enemy with this murlock having no idea, that this move won't let him kill other 2 hp minion with the murloc, that had 2 attack when oracle(gives +1 att to other murlocs) was alive

plays this 1/1 murlock at turn 1 literaly every time

Thank you, I'll look into it today. These reviews really help me out with improving the configs.

I've looked into this, it seems that this is not specifically caused by my configs. It has to do with the internal (value) calculations of the bot itself.

In my opinion bot skips very strong move, when plays totem instead of a murlock, while there is underbely angler (or even two of them) on the board. Bot does it almost always

and he loses potential value, when attacking with murlocks first and than playing such card as fishflinger. Seems like bot never hopes to get a buf for his murlocks from fishflinger battlecry, murlock tastifin deathrattle, or underbelly angler effect.

The bot should now prioritize playing murlocs before the totem, when underbelly angler is on the board.
The bot doesn't take into account the possible outcomes of fishflinger, tastifin or underbelly angler effects.

I might have fixed the latter problem that you mention. Please confirm that the bot (almost) always tries to attack a minion/the enemies hero.

I don't have the cards/dust to make other decks. Additionally, new cards have just been released. I am waiting for the new meta to settle, so that I know on which (budget) deck I should focus.
