Since August last year I have used HearthRanger to earn gold. Made 32000 gold sofar. Just used the basic cards you get from the beginning. Started with Mage and levelled up to 60. Then took the other races. It takes about 10-12 hours each day to get to the max. farming gold for that day. I play unranked only.

Only option I would like to see is that HearthRanger optional would move to a second HearthStone account and do the same thing like SmartBot. I think you can play with two HearthStone accounts in a 24 hrs/period.
