For 1 week my Hearthrange stops responding once I press the play button. I want to reinstall it but whenever I want to delete the folder it says:
"This action can't be completed because the folder or a file in it is open in another program"
The program is not even open and even after restarting it shows this message. Does anyone know how to fix one of my problems or both? Thanks a lot!

Change all the files owner to your administrator's account may solve it.
It's not a bot issue, your system account has some improper settings.

Thank you for the quick reply, but I don't know how to change the files ownership to my administrators account. I only have one user which is the admin (Win7). I have been using hearthranger for about 6 month now and(I am very sure that) I didn't change anything. I agree though that it has to be some problem on my side and not the hearthranger itself.
edit: I used my AV software do delete the folder and the only file left is the hearthranger "launcher". Do you have any idea why it "launcher.exe" would be open even though I can't find it anywhere in my task manager?

can you rename the file? otherwise you might try cmd to get to the folder path and delete the file, if dos was still around that'd do the trick, you could also try safe mode, and check your msconfig settings that might be starting something hinky.

Launcher.exe can download patch from bot server, your anti-virus may have a false alarm on Launcher.exe then lock it, you can add it to your anti-virus software's white list.
