Newbie Q. Why is my bot getting stuck?

First time user here today. Many times when I came to see what the bot was doing he was stuck trying to use a card. I unchecked "full screen" in the HS game settings. Should the HS window be left in its default position on my computer( slightly offset), should it be maximized, or doesn't matter? How about the bot window? Does it matter where it sits on the screen? I moved it so I could watch the bot play.

The bot is almost as fun to watch as twitch. Nice work guys!

I am getting this problem as well when i was testing out default AI today.

The problem seems to occur when the bot is trying to use a card from hand to target anything on board, hero/minions, such as casting a spell on enemy hero or minions.

First you need to run game in windowed mode.

It doesn't matter where to put your game window, but if you have 2 displays, you can try to place game window on the main display.

If problem still exists, ensure your anti-virus software doesn't block hearthranger's file access operation.

My problem never happened before when I was using SF AI.

I updated HR today from 4.9.x.x just for the patch update and want to give default AI a try after reading people saying how much better the default AI got.

So I guess it is because either the default AI or something about the update?

As I mentioned above, the bot cannot successfully use any card from hand that requires a target (only saw it happened with spells/spare parts, didnt have any target battlecry in my deck), the bot will click on the card then unsuccessfully to play the card due to unable to finish the targeting action.

"windowed mode" = unchecking the "full screen" option, right? Or, am I missing something?
About AV, does Windows Defender cause any issues?

The bot is working, but with only a 20% win rate today. Is this normal? It's getting stuck when trying to cast spells. I think this is the problem:

Can you try it with v.5.5.1.0?

It's abnormal if bot can't cast spells.
